Special Thank You ❤️
Many times I am thinking about how grateful I am to have a family like I have. The older I am, the more I realize that such thing is not a standard but a privilage. People say that success is 10% talent and 90% hard work, but that is not accurate. What people miss to add in the equation is the surrounding you are brought up in and the support from your family.
I would love to thank my family for everything they have done for me, because without them I would never be where I am now.
Maminka (mum), Tatinko (dad) - thank you for letting me choose my own dreams and letting me chase them. Thank you for forgiving me all the unwashed dishes in the sink and mess in the house while I was focused (ignorant) while studying. Thank you for being understanding and thoughtful whenever I was stressing (mean and grumpy) because of upcoming exams. I always loved to study in the living room - to me it meant being peaceful because I was next to you, to you it meant being silent because everything was distracting me. But still, you let me be there. Thank you for giving me rides to and from school, university and even my work to save time (and money) on travel. It was you again who helped me to decide on all of them - and your advices and opinions never let me down. Thank you for all the holidays at the sea to make me relax. Thank you for always being there for me. Thank you for creating such peaceful and loving home.
Borko (brother), Lucka (sister) - thank you for all the good and fun time, which made me forget about all the problems in my life. Thank you for all the moments where the only stress I had was about winning a game. Thank you for all the spend time together which brought me back to my childhood, and for a moment I did not need to be an adult.
Abik (husband) - thank you for being there for me even from such great distance. Thank you for never giving up on me. Thank you for cheering me up before any exam, presentation or interview and for calming me down whenever I have failed. Thank you for helping me fight my anxiety, depression and burn-out. Thank you for being strong for both of us whenever I could not. Thank you for sharing all the big moments in my life with me. Thank you for loving me the way I am. Maminka (mum) was always making fun of me saying that I will need to change many things if I ever want to have a husband - and it is not true. With you I can be just as I am. Maybe it is the only time when she was wrong about something, and I am very happy for that.
Thank you all for listening about my thesis and all my projects and interests without even understanding half of it. Thank you for creating GitHub account just so that you can star my projects, for buying me a coffee and for watching my YouTube videos. Thank you for all the moments that are not even mentioned here, because the list is simply too much long. Just know, that I remember all the little things you did and I could not be more grateful to have a family like you.
I love you.
